Plums.

One of the great things about plums – is that they have quite a strong taste. This makes them perfect for concealing other ingredients that you might not like so much, such as broccoli and cabbage.

If they are not ripe they can be quite sour – so you just need to test them before you use them. If they are too sour then they can be balanced with something sweet such as apple juice or even honey. Or just reduce the amount being used.

Obviously you don’t use the stone.

For some people plums are a natural laxative. This might be a good or a bad thing – depending on your point of view.
