Other Ingredients.

The main ingredients of a smoothie are fruits and vegetables – obviously. However, there are a number of other ingredients that can be added to make your smoothie a little more interesting.

You are only limited to your imagination here. I’ve tried breakfast cereals, nuts and seeds, yogurts, milk, cream, fruit and vegetable juices, chocolate, coco, coffee, green tea, dried fruit and peanut butter – to name just a few.

OK, some of those were gross. However, adding chocolate and nuts to a smoothie can lift it to a new level. Especially if you put them in last – so you still have unbroken chucks. Mmmm, delicious!
