Honey.

Normally you don’t need to sweeten smoothies as the fruit will be sweet enough. However, sometimes you just need to add that extra something – and honey often fills that role.

In my opinion – Honey is by far the best sweetener around. It’s 100% natural, has a great taste and it’s a wonderful energy booster.

It’s easy to use – as it can be added to the blender at any point. I normally add it about half way through though – so it doesn’t stick to the sides.

For me, yogurt and honey are a great combo. They make the smoothie creamy and sweet – what’s not to love.
