I’ve collected 100s of recipes over the years. Some of which work and have become regulars (Apple Crumble anyone?) and some of which were dreadful.
What I’ve decided to do with this section of the website is to try and add two or three new recipes each week. Recipes that I’ve tried and can recommend.
Each week I’ll be doing the experimenting – so you can enjoy the results. I’ll also try variations – and try to keep the collection as varied as I can.
So much of this is down to personal taste. However, I hope that these recipes will inspire a few of you to try new things and maybe find some new favourites.
If you have a recipe you would like me to try … then you’ll find a form at the bottom of the page. If I like it – then I’ll add it and give you a mention.
So, get the blender out and let’s make some mess…

PS. All recipes make enough for one person – just scale them up as required. Please feel free to change the proportions to suit your own tastes. Go on – experiment a bit – what could possibly go wrong (just keep away from the garlic and you’ll be fine)!
PPS. A lot of the recipes call for ½ a banana, ½ a pear, etc. This might seem a little wasteful if you’re making the smoothie just for yourself. All I do is throw the unused half into the freezer – I have a container earmarked just for these odds and ends. I then add these to my morning smoothie. So there’s no waste
