Blueberry Buffoon.

Just 120 Calories.

Smoothies don’t have to have lots of ingredients to be any good – and this is the perfect example of simplicity itself.

  • 1 small zucchini/courgette
  • ½ a tart apple – Granny Smith is ideal
  • 1 cup of blueberries
  • ½ cup iced water

If you are using frozen blueberries then just use plain water. Also, it’s important that the apple is tart – so Granny Smiths are perfect.

The result is a very clean tasting smoothie, that’s not too sweet.

The zucchini/courgette disappears, as both the apple and blueberries are much stronger flavours.

I’ve made this one for lots of people and everyone seems to love it. People are going to want seconds of  this one – so you’d better be prepared to scale up the ingredients!
