A fun and colourful smoothie that’s delicious and filling.
- Medium carrot
- Medium orange – skinned
- ½ Banana
- Small piece root ginger
- ⅔ cup iced water
This is a fun little smoothie that has a great orange colour. The taste is mainly of the orange with the heat of ginger. Although the banana is there if you look for it.
The mixture is packed full of fibre – so it’s going to be a little chewy. However, it goes down well and is reasonably filling.
Remember to skin the orange – but leave as much of the pith as you can. As that’s where a lot of the goodness is.
