A classic recipe for those that love the taste of passion fruit.

  • 2 or 3 passion fruits – just the insides
  • 1 banana
  • ½ cup apple juice
  • ¼ cup plain yogurt

Just scoop out the insides of passion fruits. The seeds will break down during the blending – giving the mixture an attractive speckled appearance. Don’t even try and completely get rid of them.

Passion fruits can be quite tart and have a strong flavour. This comes across in the final mixture – so if you’re not a fan then I’d just use two passion fruits and maybe add a little honey. The banana and yogurt give it a wonderful creamy texture and also take off some of the sharp edge.

The result is a smoothie classic – and one of my all-time top 10 favorites.
