Pear & Ginger Fool.
This is a light and fresh tasting smoothie that’s perfect for a hot summer day.
- 1 small pear – cored
- 1 small zucchini/courgette
- small chunk of root ginger
- ¼ cup yogurt
- ½ cup iced water
Be careful with the ginger – you just want a small amount so it balances with the pear. The zucchini and the yogurt tastes will disappear – but add to the creamy texture.
The result is a scrumptious silky smoothie that’s light, not too sweet and has a great taste. The ideal companion on a really hot summer day.
