Ginger & Cinnamon Apple.

Just 130 Calories.

A warm and filling smoothie that will keep hunger at bay for quite a while.

  • ½ large, or 1 medium, zucchini
  • 1 apple, cored
  • 1 medium carrot
  • Small chunk of root ginger
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 cup water – not iced

This is a classic diet smoothie. It’s thick and tasty – and just 130 calories. The main flavours are ginger, cinnamon and apple. These are a well tested and loved combination.

You don’t really need iced water – you want the mixture to be cool, not cold. This goes well with the warmth of the ginger and the cinnamon.

I wouldn’t call this a meal replacement. However, it works really well as an afternoon snack, putting off hunger for a few hours.

You can even split it into two smaller glasses and have one after dinner with a scoop of yogurt. A really delicious treat as I’ve just found out – yum yum!
