Plum & Apple.
A very tasty snack for those afternoon munchies.
- ½ cored apple
- 1 large plum – de-stoned
- 1 medium carrot
- 1 cup apple juice
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon
This is a fairly strong tasting smoothie. The plum really stands out and works really well with the apple and cinnamon. A great combination!
The carrot is really there to help fill you up. You won’t be able to taste it – so can put in as much as you fancy. This is a great trick for diet smoothies – as carrots are low in calories but high in filling power.
The result is a smoothie with lots of confidence about its place in the world! Definitely one to try.
