A scary name for a tasty smoothie that’s packed full of goodies…
- 2 passion fruits – just the pips
- ½ cup broccoli
- 1 banana
- ¼ cup plain yogurt
- ½ cup water
Most people don’t like the taste, or even the thought, of raw broccoli. However, it’s absolutely bursting with goodness – so I’d suggest tightening your apron strings, girding your loins and getting on with it. You won’t regret it (probably).
Making smoothies with broccoli is one of masking the taste. It’s not hard to do – here we’re using passion fruits. These are perfect as they have a strong taste and wonderful flavour.
The banana and yogurt keep the mixture mellow and smooth – taking off some of the tartness that the passion fruits can have.
The end result is a full flavoured smoothie that tastes wonderful and will cure you of hickeys (honestly).
