This is a smoothie that’s packed full of flavour and attitude…

  • Small handful of parsley – not too many stalks
  • Small chunk of ginger
  • 1 peeled orange
  • ½ cup fresh or frozen blueberries
  • ½ cup cold water and/or ice

The main tastes of this smoothie are going to be the ginger and the parsley – so put in as much, or as little, as you like. However, if you put in too much they will overpower the taste of the orange and the blueberries. I’d start with just a little and add more at the end if you want to.

Make sure you put everything in, apart from the blueberries, and give it a good whizz … this will ensure there are no bits left. Both the parsley and oranges tend to have stringy bits. But these are easily broken down.
