A clean and light potion that’s great for the digestion.

  • ½ Apple cored
  • 1 Cup grapes
  • 2 Stalks of celery
  • ⅔ Cup iced water

As usual the grapes should have seeds – as this is where most of the goodness hides out. They should vanish when the mixture is blitzed.

The smoothie does taste of celery – there’s no avoiding that. Although not overly so.

The recipe results in a clean tasting and light smoothie that has a dry aftertaste. The flavours are quite gentle – which makes the mixture easy to drink. These ingredients are especially good for the stomach and for digestive irritations.
