Ingredients for Green SmoothieThe definitive green smoothie for those who like their green smoothies very … well green!

  • ½ cup green grapes
  • ½ green apple
  • 2” cucumber
  • ½ zucchini
  • ½ cup broccoli
  • Handful spinach
  • ½ cup iced water

For the greenest of green smoothies I’ve used all the greenest ingredients I could find – well all those that were in the local market this morning. I was inspired seeing the very first signs of spring on my walk this morning!

The end result is a large glass of very green smoothie that has a fresh and clean taste – nothing really stands out … and it’s slightly sweet from the apple and grapes. Not the best tasting smoothie ever – but one that will put hairs on your chest and probably add at least two years to your life.

If this doesn’t tick all the boxes for the ultimate green smoothie – then I demand a recount :grin:
