The Very Red Green Smoothie.
After the recent greenest of green smoothies … I thought it would be a great idea to do a green smoothie without any greens
- ½ red apple
- ½ red bell pepper
- ½ cup red grapes
- Slice of beetroot
- Slice of red cabbage
- ½ medium carrot
- ½ cup water
There’s a lot of fibre in this one – so give it a good whizz to ensure that it’s all broken up – you can also add a little more water if you like your smoothie a little runnier.
The taste is sweet and earthy. No one ingredient dominates and it balances quite well.
As for that color just don’t spill any on the carpet – as it’ll never come out!
