The Very Red Green Smoothie.

After the recent greenest of green smoothies … I thought it would be a great idea to do a green smoothie without any greens :)

  • ½ red apple
  • ½ red bell pepper
  • ½ cup red grapes
  • Slice of beetroot
  • Slice of red cabbage
  • ½ medium carrot
  • ½ cup water

There’s a lot of fibre in this one – so give it a good whizz to ensure that it’s all broken up – you can also add a little more water if you like your smoothie a little runnier.

The taste is sweet and earthy. No one ingredient dominates and it balances quite well.

As for that color :shock: just don’t spill any on the carpet – as it’ll never come out!
