A nourishing cocktail of ingredients that tastes awesome!

  • Small chunk root ginger
  • Slice of beetroot
  • Stalk of celery
  • ½ apple
  • ½ banana
  • Small handful of kale
  • Small handful of spinach
  • ⅔ cup iced water

You can replace the kale and spinach with any greens you might have in the fridge. Either two different small handfuls or one large handful.

The mixture blends well – but does have a little bit of a chewy texture. Nothing ruinous though.

The resultant foreground taste is between the beetroot and the banana – with the ginger adding a bit of heat. The other ingredients tend to recede – but add to the background flavour. It’s actually really tasty – and quite filling.

These quantities make one medium/large glassful.
