  • ½ banana
  • ¼ cup yogurt
  • ⅔ cup iced water

The fennel has a delicate aniseed taste – which goes nicely with the banana. The bulb breaks down well – and you are left with a very smooth and creamy mixture.

I like this one as it’s not too sweet. It’s also quite delicate. I occasionally add just a little ginger root – as this complements the fennel quite well.

Fennel has been used for centuries to treat digestive issues. It’s especially good for an upset stomach. This works with the banana and yogurt – to create a natural salve.
